Save money and stay in empty uni rooms, even if you're not a student.

This was the extra night after my 3-week stay here. Scout didn't come in on Aug 7 or 8--may have misunderstood my only telling her not to change sheets that Friday as usual. I DEEPLY appreciated being given this room on the ground floor: it helped my mobility issues more than I can express.

Merton College, Oxford

This is a lovely setting, in a key location. I don't believe you would find a hotel like it in Cambridge. All of the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful; they really did make the visit special. I would return again and again.

Trinity Hall, Cambridge

I like the place very much, especially the room. The desk is really big which I like a lot. The bathroom is very nice too. Also, I specially like the heating water thing for making teas and coffee, it is very handy.

Staying in this magnificent historic college made our weekend in Cambridge very special and I would thoroughly recommend it.
