About us
This website is part of the UniversityRooms Group, itself part of the Travel Booking Network.
UniversityRooms, which started trading in March 2007, enables Universities to generate revenue from the Bed and Breakfast market during the vacations, when students are asked to clear their rooms. This is designed as a supplement to conference business, the main source of universities' revenue during the vacation periods.
We started with offering bed and breakfast in Oxford and Cambridge's historic colleges, and in 2009 added the Universities of Newcastle, Nottingham, Leicester, Kent in Canterbury, Durham, Sheffield, University College London, Warwick, Plymouth and York. In 2010, we have added Queen Mary University London, Swansea, Loughborough and Edinburgh.
Over the next few years we hope to gradually add more colleges and universities to broaden the service for our customers. We are committed to both a long-term relationship with our colleges and universities and the long-term success of this service.
If you are a university or a college and are interested in hearing more about our service, please get in touch via sales@universityrooms.co.uk: we would be delighted to provide you with a password to our Video Introduction and answer any questions you might have.
